This is a relatively minor maintenance release. Problems addressed are:
- Text clipped by a clipping mask and stepped+repeated, prints incorrectly.
- Barcode Code-39 dialog informational text suggested the ASCII double-quote was an acceptable character.
- Updated PostScript include files (PSDots.ps, PScolor.ps) to work around problems caused by printers using "type 3 halftone" as default screen, and certain 3rd party composition software that re-defined operators such as "setscreen".
- In Layer Setup dialog, color numbers mis-aligned with their color chips.
- Assorted typographical errors in dialogs that were not caught in v2.11 release.
- It is now possible to indicate that a RIP requires "%%PlateColor:" statement. To do so, insert "PlateColor" string, on a single line by itself, in the corresponding PS tray file.
- When choosing a printer in the Print dialog, certain PPD features for a printer can now be customized in a menu file (see files /usr/mecca/cfg/printers.00, and /usr/mecca/cfg/printer_files/ppd_sample for information).
