Release notes for MECCA 2000 version 4.09.  Aug/10/2006



Fixed:

1. Custom dot (logodot) angle set to -1 (default) in some cases was not
   set correctly under ReadWrong, this has been fixed (typdrv).

2. When printing to composite process color, a typo in the PS output
   incorrectly set the Magenta dot angle to the Cyan dot angle value
   (PSbasic.ps).

3. For printing seps, incorrect density sometimes was set for a graduated
   screen component (typdrv).

4. Fixed a problem in typdrv where for sep-per-page (black seps), certain
   color values were not reset, and sometimes caused the next sep to
   start with the wrong color (typdrv).

5. Fixed typdrv where composite output (part per page) for Process Color,
   graduated box sometimes printed in flat color (typdrv).

6. Underlines in mirrored text were printed at incorrect positions
   (typdrv).

7. When open/save file, if the last known "operation directory" (open,
   combine, save, etc.) no longer exists, the starting directory is now
   set to the user's HOME (m2kprocs.tcl, dbox.tcl).

8. Fixed the problem where frmpos sometimes produced incorrect drawing
   limits (frmpos).


Changed/New:

1. Added optional multi-page job optimization for batch compose output
   (bcompose, typdrv).

2. Added interfacing to open-source program "potrace", for tracing mono
   raster outlines (m2kbin, potrace2g, raster.tcl, raster_trace.tcl,
   tclIndex, potrace-freebsd3 package, acknowledgment)
