Release Notes for MECCA 2000 version 5.16.  Oct/30/2012


Fixed:

1. Installing fonts sometimes run into trouble because certain versions of
   Tcl does not remove a non-empty directory; work-around has been added
   (t1font.tcl).

2. In v5.15, font's xlate tables were cached to improve throughput, but
   the cached data omitted some font-specific characteristics (galeyc,
   pmunu, typdrv, m2kbin).

3. After showing some sample text (under the Text Attributes dialog), "AA"
   text mode was automatically reset (m2kbin).

4. When the drawing window's height is more than its width, window clipping
   became incorrect (m2kbin).

5. Defining disjointed Parts sometimes resulted in incorrect parts sequence
   (m2kbin).

6. When using named-color table (e.g. PMS), loading graphic files that used
   MECCA's traditional FCP colors in range 600-700 as layer base colors,
   resulted in unmapped colors (m2kbin).


Changed/New:

1. Added layer assigment support in MFORM/PSFORM: "LAYER=n" where 'n' is
   an integer between 1 and 32, is now supported (galeyc, preview).

2. Made color table (fcp01 chart) reading consistent for either the
   traditional, or named-color chart (m2kbin, galeyc, typdrv, PS).
