Release Notes for MECCA 2000 version 5.22. Jun/14/2014 Fixed: 1. Under some conditions, typdrv mistakenly put out CustomPageSize statements which are provided by PPD, without supplying proper values (typdrv). 2. Drawing files created with older software (before MECCA 2000) may include zero-length record, which causes the current generation software to terminate file loading prematurely (m2kbin, rasfont, galeyc, pmugal, imgchres, imgcrop, imggrow, imgmirr, imgrote, imgrotea, imgtrim, ixtobmp, ixtopng, makcoloras, getdwgver, pmunu, preview, typdrv, PS). 3. Corrected syntax errors introduced in v5.21 batchcomp script update (batchcomp). 4. Changes made to accomodate how a raster image record is marked by external software (m2kbin). Changed/New: 1. In the Parts editor dialog, the "number of seps" for a process color part can no longer be changed from 4 (parts.tcl). 2. When defining seps/layers for a spot color part, clicking on the sep's label -- "1", "2", "3", etc. -- will set all layers in that sep: if no layer has been set in the sep, set all layers to "print"; otherwise, set all layers to "ignored" to provide a faster short-cut (parts.tcl). 3. Picking an area to enable it as a clipping mask, has no effect when the area already is a clipping mask. Now a short message is shown to report such fact. Also, "Clipping Mask" will appear when an area is queried, when applicable (m2kbin, modmasking.tcl, area.tcl). 4. In a PS tray file, it is now possible to include "out_pslevel2" to force the generated PS file to mark level-2 in the header (typdrv).
