Release Notes for MECCA 2000 version 5.34. Oct/11/2018 Fixed: 1. IL1 and IL2 values given in PHEDX/PFUTX setup commands were incorrectly parsed, resulting in 1/10 of the specified indentation(s) -- (galeyc, m2kbin). 2. Added some guards against bad values stored in files created by older versions of MECCA III (m2kbin, preview, typdrv, gpcdump). Changed/New: 1. Added support for a special character "non-breaking space", in the form of an immediate command: \nbsp^ (galeyc, m2kbin, typdrv). Please note: a. Although it looks like an "immediate command", it should be thought of as a special character (e.g. \nnnn^), as it does not possess any mark-up command qualities. b. When followed by a space, NL or FJ command. NBSP is ignored (and treated as a normal space where applicable). NBSP is also dropped when word width exceeds column width. c. NBSP will be ignored under extremely narrow measures where component words do not fit. d. Depending on given measure, tail word (after NBSP) may or may not be hyphenated. 2. Added support for importing certain data from OneForm+U (m2kbin, typdrv, gpcdump). In OneForm+U saved files, most Unicode characters in the following ranges are supported: ISO-8859-1, Adobe Symbols, and Adobe ZapfDingbats (excluding the privte-use range). 3. Added a few Unicode character mapping sequences such as 1/2, 1/4 etc. to the mapping file (/usr/mecca/cfg/unimap, unimap). 4. Previously, "Save As" forced the file name to be "untitled.g". Now, the currently opened file name is used as default (m2kprocs.tcl). 5. File-name extension ".elf" has been added to the "Open File" dialog (m2kprocs.tcl).
